AESA Foundation: Supporting Our Community and Seeking Your Generosity
|
The AESA Foundation continues to play a pivotal role in fostering leadership development and innovation within our community. As we move forward, we are excited to share some of the fantastic items available through our ongoing fundraising efforts and remind everyone that we are still actively collecting donations.
Exciting Auction Items
Our live and silent auctions at the Annual Conference have always been a highlight, and this year is no exception. Here are some of the incredible items up for grabs:
- A wine/spirit discount and a private wine class for 20 people at Total Wine, valued at $600.
- A gift certificate for the Rose Lion Swim exclusive swimwear line, valued at $100.
- An African Photo Safari for two, valued at $5,950.
- A seven-night stay at a Tuscan villa in Manciano for four people.
- Four iPads for the silent auction.
These are just a few examples of the wonderful items donated by our generous supporters. Each contribution helps us further our mission and support the goals set forth by the AESA Executive Council.
We Need Your Support
As we continue to gather items for our auctions, we invite you to consider making a donation. Whether it's a unique experience, a piece of art, or any other valuable item, your contribution can make a significant impact. No donation is too small, and every bit helps us reach our goals.
If you are interested in donating items, please reach out to Tina Viletto, our new and very first coordinator of the AESA Foundation. Tina has been doing a fabulous job working with the Foundation Board of Trustees to re-energize the organization.

Join the Discussion! P2C is Bridging Classroom Learning with Real-World Careers
|
Pathway2Career (P2C), an AESA Business Partner, helps students realize what they’re learning in school matters. P2C connects classroom lessons to future jobs, showing how the skills and knowledge students gain today can lead to real-world opportunities. It answers the question, “When will I ever need to know this in the real world?” by helping learners and teachers make daily connections between what they’re doing now in the classroom and what they’ll do later in life.
On Thursday, November 14 at 2:00 pm (ET), AESA will host a live Zoom session with Dr. Joseph Goins, P2C CEO. Dr. Goins will share research on the power of aligning curriculum with real-world careers specific to each region, offering practical insights for educators. A Q&A session will follow, with the opportunity to explore strategies for applying these ideas.
For those unable to attend live, you are encouraged to submit questions in advance to Beth Kabes at bkabes@aesa.us. The session will be recorded and made available for later viewing, ensuring everyone has a chance to benefit from this important discussion.
