Mindset Over Machines Roundtable – May 12

Video

Many AESA members from across the network have already committed to joining our AI Roundtable next Tuesday, May 12 at 3:00 pm ET, but we know many more would benefit from being part of it.

AESA’s Mindset Over Machines is a live virtual roundtable featuring Dr. Eric Solomon, former executive at Google, YouTube, Instagram, and Spotify. Together, participants will explore what it means to lead with clarity, judgment, and intention as AI and emerging technologies continue to reshape the work.

The Roundtable is available as a standalone experience for $79 and is also included with registration for AESA’s new Ascend Academy, a leadership experience designed to help leaders stay grounded and effective in an AI-driven world.

Coming This Month!

Business Strategy Framework 1.0 Workshop
May 18-19, 2026 | Waco, TX (Region 12)
This foundational business strategy course equips ESA leaders to align mission, strategy, and operations—creating a clear, cohesive framework for stronger decision-making and organizational success.

Save Your Spot Before Early Bird Pricing Flies Away!

Now’s the time to snag the best rate for the 2026 Summer Leadership Conference before early bird pricing disappears on June 5.

Join ESA leaders from across the country July 14–16 in Riverside, California, for Systems in Sync: Leading Coherence and Connection—three days packed with fresh ideas, practical strategies, and meaningful connections.

You’ll hear from national thought leaders, swap ideas with colleagues tackling the same challenges, and head home with actionable strategies you can put to work right away.

And yes—there’s even a special learning tour to Garner Holt Education Through Imagination (because who doesn’t love a field trip?).

Strengthen alignment across your organization, spark new partnerships, and explore innovative approaches to leading through change alongside peers who understand the work.

Come Early for the Pre-Conference!

AESA will also host Strategic Pricing and Experimentation in Action ahead of the Summer Leadership Conference. This one-day workshop gives ESA teams practical tools to make smarter pricing decisions, test ideas before scaling, and uncover new opportunities for growth. Hands-on, strategic, and designed for immediate application back home.

Don’t Miss What Else Is Ahead in 2026–27

As you plan for the coming academic year, we encourage you to take a fresh look at the Spring Programs Guide and explore the many ways AESA can support your agency’s goals. And while the guide already includes a strong lineup of opportunities, there’s even more still to come!

Note on Invoicing: For programs beginning after July 1, 2026, you may choose to pay your invoice in the current fiscal year or defer payment until the new fiscal year. All invoices must be paid prior to the start of the program. We hope this added flexibility makes it even easier for you to join us.

Upcoming AI Workshop

The Building Capacity workshops were originally designed for district leadership teams to engage in hands-on planning using the Gen AI Maturity Tool. However, AESA is seeing strong interest from ESA teams as well. ESA staff who are exploring AI service models, regional supports, or system-level strategy are encouraged to participate. Below is an upcoming workshop.
