Join Dr. Duncan Simester at the Summer Leadership Pre-Conference for a NEW workshop that focuses on taking your Business Strategy Framework to the next level!

Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16  |  9:00 am – 4:00 pm

This pre-Summer Leadership Conference Business Strategy Framework Workshop, "Managing Strategic Resources," features Dr. Duncan Simester and AESA Business Strategists, Andy Pechacek and Doreen Marvin, sharing information about:
 * Competitive Strategy & Application to the Business of AI
 * Managing Strategic Uncertainty
 * Partnering on AI
 * Organizing for Strategy.

Pre-requisite: Participants are required to have attended a previous Business Strategy Framework Workshop prior to this event.  (Attend BSF 1.0 this June!)


Registration Fee:

Individuals: $2,250 per person
Team of 3 or more: $1,900 per person

 

Telling Your Story & Building Your Brand

Small Staff ESAs Network
The next Small Staff ESA Network meeting will be this Thursday, April 18th, at 2 PM EST (1 PM Central; 12 Noon Mountain; 11 AM Pacific; 10 AM Alaska). 


The presenters, Dorreen Dembski and LeaAnn Odekirk, will share their experiences in strategic communications, public relations, and marketing support for educational and non-profit organizations.

EPA Issues National Primary Drinking Water Regulation

The Biden Administration released a final National Primary Drinking Water Regulation for six PFAS – the first ever enforceable limit of so-called “forever chemicals”. This rule will directly impact districts that operate a non-transient, non-community water system (NTNCWS). The following states have a large number of NTNCWS and may be particularly impacted: CA, IN, ME, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, WI 

 

K12 Cyber and You: Ready to Go Resources

We have a list of resources from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in the Department of Homeland Security.

 

ED and DOL Announce Additional Actions to Support Pathways Into Education

The Department of Education (ED) and Department of Labor (DOL) announced actions to further expand access to high-quality and affordable pathways into education professions, including residency, grow your own, and Registered Apprenticeship programs. These actions include new funding and technical assistance.
