2026-27 Special Education Directors Network

Description

The AESA Special Education Directors Network—a national professional learning community designed specifically for ESA leaders who oversee special education services.

This network will bring together directors, coordinators, and other special education leaders from across the country to share strategies, solve common challenges, and stay ahead of emerging trends in special education.

What to Expect:

  • Timely Topics & Trends – Explore evolving practices, policies, and innovations that impact special education at the regional and national levels.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving – Participate in think tanks and structured discussions to address real-world challenges facing ESAs and the districts they serve.
  • Practical Tools & Resources – Gain access to proven frameworks, service delivery models, and leadership strategies that strengthen individual agency’s work.
  • A National Peer Network – Connect with fellow ESA special education leaders to share insights, benchmark ideas, and build lasting professional relationships.

Time

Meetings will be held at 2 pm Eastern (1 pm Central; 12 noon Mountain; 11 am Pacific; 10 am Alaska) for 90 minutes on the following dates:  September 22, 2026; November 17, 2026; January 12, 2027; February 9, 2027; March 9, 2027, and April 20, 2027.

Pricing

The membership fee is $480 per year.
