Spring 2025 Courses for Educators of Students Who Are DeafBlind

The University of South Dakota and South Dakota DeafBlind Project are excited to announce that registration is now open for the upcoming semester of courses designed for licensed educators working with students who are deafblind. This spring, choose from Deafblindness: Communication Strategies or Life Planning for Success: DeafBlind Strategies, taught by Maurice Belote, a renowned expert in deafblind education. Each course offers the option to earn 3 graduate credits through the University of South Dakota.

 

Over the past four years, more than 140 educators from 28 states have participated in these courses. Participants come from diverse professional backgrounds, including:

  • Early Childhood Educators
  • Educational Audiologists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Orientation & Mobility Specialists
