The report finds that teacher morale has improved from just one year ago, a shift from recent years when teachers reported high levels of burnout and disillusionment. Yet despite these gains, teachers are under pressure to keep pace with multiplying responsibilities and deepening student needs. Teens Teach Tech Offers Free Digital Skills Training
|
Connected Nation (CN) offers Teens Teach Tech, a free community service and mentorship program powered by AT&T. Launched in 2022, this program empowers teens to lead digital skills courses, training over 18,000 people in 36 states.
Organizations like schools, non-profits, and community centers can partner with CN. CN provides the curriculum, start-up funds, and support, while teens train adults in digital literacy. Teams can earn incentives, making it a potential fundraiser.
Mentors can start by completing an interest form and onboarding with CN. The curriculum, created by the Public Library Association and AT&T, covers topics like Internet Basics, Computer Basics, and more. Teams report their training outcomes and earn financial incentives for each person trained.
For more information, visit the Teens Teach Tech webpage or email Emily Jordan at ejordan@connectednation.org.
