First “Ask Jason” Webinar: 2026-27 Global Coordinator Training

The 2025–26 AESA Global Coordinator Training cohort is currently participating in its international study tour in Asia. (Follow their journey here.) The study tour is a key component of the program that places participants directly in global education settings to turn learning into practice.

The program focuses on building professional capacity for ESA leaders. Participants develop skills in cultural intelligence, international negotiation, ethical risk management, cross-cultural leadership, and strategic partnership development, preparing them to lead global engagement efforts within their agencies.

AESA Global plans to open applications for the 2026–27 cohort later this spring!

To help prospective participants learn more before committing, Jason Hiruo, AESA Chief Global Officer, will host a series of “Ask Jason” live webinar discussions this spring and again in the fall about the program.

The first “Ask Jason” webinar will take place March 31 at 2:00 pm ET. If you’re interested in learning more, please confirm your attendance through the registration link.

Call for Proposals Extended to March 31st!

Good news—there’s still time to submit your ideas for this year’s AESA Summer Leadership Conference.

To give more leaders the opportunity to contribute, the breakout session proposal deadline has been extended to March 31, 2026.

The 2026 conference, Systems in Sync: Leading Coherence & Connection, will bring ESA leaders together in Southern California to explore how service agencies can strengthen alignment across leadership, instruction, well-being, and community partnerships. Breakout sessions are a key part of the experience, giving attendees the chance to learn directly from colleagues who are doing innovative and impactful work across the ESA community.

We’ve already received several strong proposals representing important leadership strands, and we’re excited about the conversations they’ll spark. By extending the deadline, we hope to welcome even more voices, perspectives, and practical ideas into this year’s program.

If you have a strategy that’s working, a lesson learned, or an approach that could benefit fellow ESA leaders, we encourage you to submit a proposal and share your work.

Submit your breakout proposal by March 31, 2026,

Submit your session idea through the Breakout Session Proposal Form and help shape an impactful Summer Leadership Conference for ESA leaders nationwide!
